Description
Job Summary:    
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aggregate products from rail cars to the appropriate aggregate stockpile.  Perform manual labor as necessary.  This hourly, non-exempt position will work with direct and indirect supervision.

Essential Functions:
* Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aggregate products from rail cars to the appropriate aggregate stockpile.
* Perform daily checks, inspections and maintenance of rail facility and associated conveyor system.
* Identify mechanical malfunctions, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
* Safely and proficiently operate plant loader.
* Provide assistance and support for the maintenance of the asphalt plant.
* Proactively communicate in a positive, professional manner with GOH team members.
* Perform manual labor as necessary.
* Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
* Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Knowledge of:
* Heavy construction equipment operation.

Ability to:
* Learn asphalt plant (batch and drum operations) safety, operations and equipment.
* Learn and follow GOH company policies and procedures.
* Recognize operation conditions such as segregated stock piles, moisture problems, contamination, etc.
* Work with direct and indirect supervision.

Qualifications:
* Must be able to operate welder and cutting torch.

Education:
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:
* Previous equipment repair experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
* Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
* Ability to shovel.
* Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
