Description
Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to ensure equipment is clean and fueled. Communicate with Regional Transportation Manager to identify and correct problems with equipment. This hourly, non-exempt position will work with direct supervision of a Regional Transportation Manager.

Essential Functions:

* Safely perform essential functions.

* Perform pressure washing on trucks and equipment.

* Operate fueling equipment and fuel trucks.

* Perform various maintenance checks as required.

* Move trucks in and out of the wash bay and also move fuel truck to conduct fueling operations on-site.

* Proactively communicate with Regional Transportation Manager concerning problems with equipment and areas that need attention.

* Consistently work on personal growth plan.

* Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.

* Frequently work more than 40 hours per week and non-traditional hours including night shift, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.

* Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Knowledge of:

* Basic knowledge of construction operations.

Ability to:

* Operate tools and equipment used to detail, pressure wash and fuel equipment.

* Take and follow instructions.

* Ability to learn and follow GOH company policies.

Qualifications:

* Valid driver’s license for state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.

* Prefer valid Class B CDL for state in which you reside with HazMat and Tanker endorsements with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.

Education:

* High school graduate or equivalent.

* Prefer completion of Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology program from an accredited vocational or technical school.

Experience:

* Prefer one year of experience as a heavy equipment or truck technician.

* Prefer previous detailing and washing experience.

Required Annual Training:

* Safety

* Constant (67-100%) - Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to sit/drive/travel.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to shift gears.

* Constant (67-100%) - Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.

* Constantly (67-100%) - Ability to work in a field environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, vibrations, extreme/inclement weather conditions and a variety of petroleum and cleaning products.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to safely climb up the bed ladder and on trucks.

* Constant (67-100%) - Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.

* Frequently (34-66%) - Ability to walk and work on uneven terrain.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to see and work with a minimum amount of light on night shift operations.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to shovel and use other tools.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to push a maximum force of 83 pounds.

* Occasionally (0-33%) - Ability to pull a maximum force of 155 pounds.
