Job Summary:
Perform a variety of manual labor tasks to assist Concrete Carpenter/Finisher.  This hourly, non-exempt position will work with direct and indirect supervision.
Essential Functions:  
* Assist in finishing concrete to learn and develop skill.  
* Assist in cutting and setting forms to learn and develop skill.  
* Grade stone, compact stone and prepare for pour of concrete.    
* Develop skill in using a lute.  
* Complete edging and hand floating with finisher.  
* Strip and clean forms.  
* Saw cut concrete joints.  
* Perform concrete structure work as needed.
* Responsible for safely operating company vehicle as needed.
* Ensure safe working environment.
* Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
* May operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment, such as skid steer, roller, paver, screed, etc. 
* Frequently work more than 40 hours per week and non-traditional hours including night shift, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.
* Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.   
Knowledge of:
* Tools, including their maintenance.
Ability to:
* Learn and follow GOH Company policies and procedures.
* Learn to read grades.
* Anticipate what is needed next and have it ready. 

Qualifications: 
* Must have own basic set of hand tools.
* Valid driver's license for the state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.
* Must have basic math skills.
* Must successfully complete PennDOT Flagger Training Course.
Education:
* Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.  
Experience:  
* None required.

Physical Requirements:
* Constant 67-100% Ability to bend, sit, stoop, and stand for long periods of time in the outdoor weather. 
* Constant 67-100% Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. 
* Constant 67-100% Ability to work in a  field environments, including but not liimted to exposure to dust, inclement weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, noise, vibrations and a variety of petroleum products. 
* Constant 67-100% Ability to wear required personal protective equipment. 
* Frequent 34-66% Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently. 
* Frequent 34-66% Ability to walk and work on uneven terrain.
