Job Summary:
This position assists with the duties of the Administrative Director of Equipment Operations and the Shop Superintendents to assist in directing the equipment services administrative staff within the shop facilities, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. Works as a liaison between leadership and the administrative staff to enhance shop flow, research, develop, and train on processes and procedures in order to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity within the department. This is a hands-on position that will not only have duties but will regularly work with the Shop Administrative staff within the department and serve as back-up when needed. This hourly, non-exempt position works with indirect supervision.
 
Essential Functions:
*Research and assist in developing processes to ensure safety and efficiency of maintenance staff.
*Assist Shop Superintendent with hiring and evaluating administrative staff within the shop facilities.
*Train administrative staff on company and departmental processes and procedures.
*Act as representative outside of Equipment Services, promoting department policies.
*Consistently analyze and perform audits on department processes.
*Gather, analyze, and make recommendations of vendor bid proposals.  The relevant aspects of the proposals received should be weighted as to their overall importance and, therefore, given appropriate consideration.
*Report market trends or changes that may impact Equipment Services.
*Monitor and promote the use of vendor performance evaluations.
*Promote and maintain vendor relations with integrity and fairness.
*Represent the company and conduct business in a manner that conveys the company's image.
*Research and assist in developing information technology systems.
*Implement and oversee inventory control processes.
*Monitor, measure & develop procedures and programs for the Equipment Services administrative staff.
*Proactively communicate with the Administrative Director of Equipment Operations and Shop Superintendents.
*Drive/operate a vehicle to travel between GOH facilities.
*Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
*Potentially work more than 40 hours per week and non traditional hours including Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.
*Occasional required to travel to other sites and stay away for a period of time.
*Ability to train and mentor employees
*Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
 
Knowledge of:
*Advanced computer skills and applications.
*Procedures to research, analyze, & train on new software to improve efficiency.
*Construction equipment management & construction accounting software preferred. 
 
Ability to:
*Demonstrate proficient MS Office software application skills.
*Demonstrate proficient database software skills.
*Work efficiently and complete tasks quickly and accurately.
*Take and follow instructions.
*Learn, follow and train others on GOH Company policies and procedures.
*Plan ahead so as to ensure projects and reports are completed when needed.
*Work effectively in a team environment and with little supervision.
*Work independently with the common goal of the team in mind.
*Type 25 words per minute.
*Pass department ten key assessment.
 
Qualifications:
*Valid driver's license for state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.
*Must be detail oriented.
*Must demonstrate a high degree of analytical ability and organizational skills.
*Must have excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
 
Education:
*Completion of Certificate or Associates degree of coursework in Business Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited institution required.  
 
Experience:
*Microsoft Office Software.
*Prefer training experience.
*Experience in the equipment or construction industry preferred.
*Experience with inventory control processes preferred.
*Experience with auditing processes and procedures preferred.
